The Stage Controller CTLXYZIG is a table top, RS-232C, stepper motor driver controller. The controller is firmware preconfigured to drive a specific stepper motor stages. Standard with three axis stepper motor control. Additional bit inputs and outputs are available. The controller provides precise control of the X, Y axis speed through an exceptionally smooth joystick. The speed is proportional to joystick deflection with velocities from as slow as single steps to full traverse speed. Remote focus of the z-axis is provided via a focusing knob on the control module. The unit also provides three user selectable sensitivities for the joystick and Z-encoder for added control. The unit con be controlled manually or through standard RS-232C commands. The controller provides a display of X, Y and Z coordinates locally on an LED display. These coordinates are also available via RS-232C.
