The Computerized Z-Motor (CZM) enables precise focus control for most microscopes without the need for operator contact with the instrument. Consisting of a Control Module and a Motor Unit, the Computerized Z-Motor facilitates remote manual focusing via the Control Knob, and up down push-buttons on the Control Module, or computer control of microscope focus using an RS-232C link. In addition to maintaining sample cleanliness, the Computerized Z-Motor provides for easier, more accurate photographic sectioning and can be integrated with automatic inspection processes.
