Stage T-Limit Adjustment
|
Every Conix Stage has T-Limit stops to prevent over travel of the stage. Each Axis has two T-Limits. The motorized versions of the stages have
magnets on the T-Limits and Hall Effect sensors in the middle plate for electronic sensing of the limits.

To adjust the range of travel of one of our stages, follow this procedure.
|
- Move the stage so the T-limit stop is exposed (one of the X-Axis T-Limits is burried. To adjust this T-Limit you must line it up with access hole in the mid-plate).
- Using a .050” allen wrench, loosen the set screw so the T-limit stop will slide in groove easily.
- Push T-limit stop in towards the center of the stage.
- Move stage axis so that T-limit stop will be pushed out toward edge of stage (this will be the maximum travel in that direction).
- Retighten set screw.

|
If stage chatters at the end of travel, move T-limit stop in toward center of stage until chattering stops.
